VRoomBox & VRoomRoom Bookings
Is there are minimum length for booking one or two VRoomBoxes or the VRoomRoom?
- Yes, there is a 2 Hour Minimum Booking Required for All Packages
If we book the VRoomBox for a birthday party can we have it set up in our living room?
- Yes, however, all VRoomBox bookings will require at least a 6′ L x 4′ W area per rig on solid flooring. Flooring must be capable of holding 225-600lbs per rig depending on rider size and weight
If we book two VRoomBoxes can we set them up outside in our back yard?
- Only in dry seasons, and when sufficient floor covering is provided and a pop up tent can be used as a canopy for sufficient overhead covering
If we book two VRoomBoxes for a birthday party are there any special power requirements?
- All VRoomBox bookings inside structures where VRSR cannot safely provide its own power via generator will require consent of use of 2 disparate A/C power outlets (15 amp, 20 amp preferred)
Why is it more expensive to book the VRoomBoxes versus the VRoomRoom?
- Due to setup and breakdown time of 30-40 minutes per rig, all VRoomBox bookings will add a set up/breakdown fee of $75 per rig
- The VRoomRoom does not require any setup or breakdown so is much easier to provide same service
For VRoomRoom bookings at our home, what kind of parking space do you need?
- All VRoomRoom bookings will require ample parking space reserved for 6 x 10′ trailer with 11′ minimum height clearance, ideally in shaded or semi-shaded area during summer season
If we book the VRoomRoom, we would like to play iRacing. Is that an option?
- Yes, however, iRacing requires a personal account in good standing for each individual driver (minimum of 2 active member logins).
Is Internet available in the VRoomRoom? What kind of speeds?
An Internet connection is required For Head-to-Head Racing, or Tandem Flight sessions (DCS F-14B), and the ideal VRoomRoom experience!! There are a few options to consider when booking the VRoomRoom:
- OPTION 1: A 50 or 100ft Ethernet cable will be available at no charge and can be connected to your home router/gateway/switch, and is always preferred for best throughput and user experience, however often not logistically possible to run cable
- OPTION 2: A WiFi extender can be wirelessly connected at no additional charge to routers and WiFi hubs where in range and good connections are available
- OPTION 3: Where no customer provided Ethernet or WiFi an option, for additional $20, use wireless sim card & commercial outdoor mounted antenna for 25-30Mbps down, 18-20Mbps up for plenty of throughput for Tandem Racing & Flight sessions
